About the position
The Overnight LNA or Caregiver position involves supervising and assisting semi-independent residents in a privately owned assisted living facility. The role focuses on providing personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication administration during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, punctual, and enjoy working with the elderly, contributing to a low-stress environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist 12 semi-independent residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Provide companionship and support to residents.
- Triage the needs of the home and multitask effectively during shifts.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Experience in long-term care is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in caregiving (1 year preferred).
