About the position

The Overnight Part-Time Security & Guest Service Associate is responsible for ensuring the security of the premises during overnight shifts. This role involves monitoring security equipment, conducting regular patrols, and providing assistance to residents and employees. The associate must maintain accurate records of activities and incidents while adhering to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the security of the premises during the overnight shift.
• Monitor security equipment such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities and incidents that occur during the shift.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
• Provide assistance and support to residents or employees, volunteers as needed.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with residents, volunteers, or employees.
• Follow established protocols for handling and documenting family interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
