About the position
Zoomies Canine Club is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their team as overnight pet sitters. This role offers the flexibility to care for pets either in the clients' homes or in the sitters' own homes, providing a unique opportunity for pet lovers to earn additional income while ensuring the well-being of animals.
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care for pets in clients' homes or at your own home.
- Ensure pets are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for pets.
Requirements
- Love for animals and experience caring for pets.
- Reliable and responsible.
- Ability to communicate clearly with pet owners.
Nice-to-haves
- Proven experience in pet care, animal handling, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
- Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and other animals safely and compassionately.
- Experience working in a kennel or similar environment is beneficial.
- Must possess strong observational skills to monitor animal behavior and health.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
