About the position
The Overnight Produce Team Member at Whole Foods Market plays a crucial role in the produce department by ensuring the efficient operation of overnight receiving and stocking processes. This position focuses on maintaining product quality, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service while upholding store operations standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming produce shipments to ensure they meet high quality standards.
- Accurately sort and scan waste, maintain production standards, and stock and clean shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
- Receive and stock product from receiving locations to sales floors or back stock spaces.
- Aid in receiving and sorting overnight deliveries for other teams.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
