About the position

The Overnight Residential Treatment Worker at Barrington House Thrive Behavioral Health Inc. is responsible for providing direct services and supervising daily living skills of residents within a group home for individuals with long-term mental illness. This role involves creating a safe and supportive environment, facilitating education and training in essential life skills, and ensuring compliance with medical and behavioral programs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Provide intensive education, training, and modeling in basic living skills and social skills.
  • Coordinate and monitor medical, dental, and psychiatric services.
  • Supervise medication compliance.
  • Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation, and client records.
  • Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
  • Transport clients.
  • Review e-mail account daily for new messages.
  • Attend all agency/department required training and meetings.
  • Attend all Safety Training programs and describe responsibilities related to safety.
  • Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.

  • Present a neat appearance in proper attire and identification as required.
  • Work the hours and/or shifts assigned, beginning and ending on time.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Human Service field or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, special education, or related human services preferred.
  • Experience in the Human Service field is required.
  • Valid driver's license required or ability to obtain necessary transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in group home settings.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management for clients.
