About the position

The Overnight Retail Sales Associate at US Foods plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the store's operations. This position involves various responsibilities, including cashiering, stocking, and assisting customers across different departments. The associate is expected to embody the company's cultural beliefs and contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with store customers.
• Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately, including scanning merchandise and verifying cart content.
• Assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves in an orderly fashion while ensuring proper product rotation.
• Replenish sales floor daily by down stocking freight and ensuring the oldest product is stocked first.
• Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and proprietary software as needed.
• Ensure all products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and constantly available.
• Assist with price changes as directed by the Pricing Lead and Store Management.
• Participate in the inventory and cycle count process as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, front end, and restrooms, and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
