About the position

The Overnight Security Operations Center Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the security and safety of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona's facilities, staff, and customers. This position involves monitoring security protocols, responding to incidents, and optimizing processes to reduce shrinkage and enhance customer satisfaction. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining security surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and collaborating with various departments to promote security awareness and effective incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events, logs, alerts, and other data sources to identify potential and current security incidents.
• Act swiftly during emergency situations, such as thefts, burglaries, fires, and medical emergencies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
• Provide appropriate responses to security incidents and implement mitigation measures.
• Proactively search for indicators of compromise and other malicious activities.
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports on security and safety incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with all Company divisions to promote security awareness and provide guidance to customers.
• Maintain awareness of local emergency services and law enforcement agencies for effective communication in emergencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are helpful but not required.
• Ability to prioritize duties, manage multiple tasks, and make decisions in stressful situations.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to operations.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
