About the position

The Overnight Stock Clerk at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food items in the club. This part-time position requires maintaining a clean and organized environment while ensuring that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked. The role emphasizes teamwork, service excellence, and adherence to club policies and procedures, contributing to a positive shopping experience for members.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensures that all merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintains display signage for all products.
• Creates labels and/or applies merchandise sales tags to items.
• Ensures all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures the club is neat, clean, and organized.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
