About the position
Nugget Markets is seeking a reliable teammate to join our Night Stock Crew in West Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time graveyard position with shifts running from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and physical environment, ensuring that our store is ready for its 'Grand Opening' every morning. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining abundant floor displays, keeping them fully stocked and faced, and ensuring that all items are rotated properly. You will also be tasked with pulling out-of-date items, bringing out pallets, breaking down loads, and wheeling products to the aisles while adhering to case count expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for storing and wrapping all full and partial pallets, operating forklifts and other moving equipment, and following all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and machinery operation. Responsibilities
- Maintain abundant floor displays by keeping displays fully stocked and faced.
- Stock and rotate items, pulling out-of-date items.
- Bring out pallets and break down loads.
- Wheel product to aisles and throw load per case count expectations.
- Store and wrap all full and partial pallets.
- Operate forklifts and other moving equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations including proper lifting and operation of machinery.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous graveyard experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of the English language, including the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules, and signage.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude is essential.
