About the position

The Overnight Youth Worker is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of youth during the overnight shift at the Independence Campus. This role involves providing supervision, treatment intervention, and maintaining documentation while utilizing approved behavior control techniques. The position emphasizes teamwork, positive role modeling, and adherence to treatment plans and medication management guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assure unit coverage, safety, and security during the overnight shift.
• Provide supervision and treatment intervention for youth.
• Ensure timely provision for basic client needs.
• Follow medication management guidelines.
• Participate in team reviews of case progress and programming.
• Maintain strong team participation and interaction.
• Model positive behavior and performance as an agent of change for the youth.
• Develop knowledge of Behavior Health Intervention Services (BHIS) and Medicaid standards.
• Complete timely documentation of services, including daily case notes and behavior management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Desire to help kids succeed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills in a MS Office environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience working with children is a plus.
• Possession of a degree in Social Services or related field preferred.
