The Sales Executive at Marriott Vacations Worldwide plays a crucial role in converting prospective owners into purchasers of vacation ownership. This position involves building relationships with potential owners, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring their satisfaction post-sale. The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering personalized sales presentations, managing business transactions, and providing exceptional service to owners and customers, all while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Convert prospective owners into purchasers through effective sales techniques.
  • Develop relationships with prospective owners by soliciting and following up on referrals and leads.
  • Cater the sales experience to individual needs and preferences of potential owners.
  • Ensure all required paperwork and legally required documents are completed accurately and timely during the sales contract process.
  • Maintain customer relationships post-sale to ensure continued satisfaction and develop future business opportunities.
  • Answer owner questions regarding property use and amenities, and provide recommendations based on owner backgrounds.
  • Follow up on referrals and leads from owners to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Monitor owner satisfaction and inform them of upcoming promotions.
  • Conduct sales presentations following the Consultative Sales Process, establishing trust with prospective owners.
  • Customize sales presentations based on the needs of prospective owners through strategic questioning.
  • Complete and close the sales contract process, ensuring all legal paperwork is signed and notarized.
  • Review loan applications and financial documents with customers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to and resolve customer and owner inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law.
