Responsibilities

• Translate data needs and goals from stakeholders by understanding data structures and gathering data requirements.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and spreadsheets for P&C Operations using current tools and standards.
• Create SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, ensuring the accuracy of reports and dashboards.
• Maintain methods to distribute management information throughout P&C Operations.
• Perform quality assurance checks to validate data completeness and accuracy.
• Document and update policies, procedures, and processes used in P&C Operations.
• Respond to support questions promptly and accurately, analyzing results and issues.
• Review and validate queries, reports, and dashboards created by junior analysts for accuracy.
• Translate findings into written summaries and visuals for non-technical audiences.
• Participate in cross-functional working groups and identify data errors for timely correction.
• Ensure data security and compliance with corporate privacy procedures.
• Assist with training stakeholders on data usage, SQL, and PowerBI.
• Act as a delegate for supervisors or managers when appropriate and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Four to six years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Access.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Indirect leadership experience, including training and mentoring.
