About the position

Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented position P&ID Drafter in Sedro-Woolley, WA or Bellingham, WA! Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented P&ID Drafter to join our team. This position will be responsible for creating detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) that are critical to our engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, specifically in P&ID design, and be capable of establishing standards, implementing software solutions, and utilizing tools like EPLAN. The role may also involve other types of drafting and modeling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design detailed P&IDs, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all projects.
• Establish and maintain drafting standards and procedures for P&ID creation and revisions.
• Implement and optimize software tools, particularly EPLAN, to streamline drafting processes and ensure high-quality results.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate technical specifications into P&ID designs.
• Manage and update P&ID drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with other drafting teams to ensure that P&IDs align with mechanical, electrical, and process diagrams.
• Assist with other drafting and modeling tasks as required by the engineering team, including mechanical drafting and 3D modeling when applicable.
• Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
• Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks.
• Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance.
• Maintain good organization skills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in P&ID drafting or related positions.
• Strong proficiency in P&ID drafting. Experience with EPlan is a plus.
• Knowledge of or experience with 3D modeling software, such as Siemens NX, is a plus.
• Must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with complex technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the P&ID drafting process.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and other technical teams.
• Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Familiarity in the following standard is preferred: IEC/ISO 81346, IEC 81355, ISO 10628, ANSI/ISA 5.1, ISO 14617.
