About the position

NielsenIQ is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to manage and grow qualified lead volume and sales pipeline for the MRI-Simmons team. This role involves qualifying inbound inquiries, conducting outbound prospecting, and supporting events to engage potential clients. The SDR will be the first point of contact for prospects, requiring professionalism and excellent communication skills to set the tone for the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound inquiries to determine sales readiness.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, social media, and phone to schedule meetings for sales representatives.
  • Support in-person and virtual events through pre- and post-event outreach.
  • Learn continuously to become an expert in NielsenIQ solutions.
  • Effectively pitch products to decision makers by understanding their needs.
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly activity plans to maximize prospecting efficiency.
  • Meet and exceed key performance metrics for calls, emails, and appointments scheduled.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all lead and prospecting activities.
  • Build relationships with sales team members to nurture leads and ensure quality.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree plus at least 2 years of sales or complementary experience.
  • Experience in a customer-focused, high-growth sales, service, or marketing team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse personalities.
  • Excellent researching and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Dynamics 365, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Exceptional communication skills in various mediums.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with ambition to grow knowledge and skills.
