About the position

The Passenger Service Agent at Menzies Aviation plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience for passengers. This position involves assisting passengers at ticket counters, verifying documents at the gate, and managing various tasks related to passenger check-in and boarding. The role is dynamic and requires flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, often during variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers at ticket counters to ensure proper check-in and luggage handling.
• Verify passenger documents in the gate area prior to boarding.
• Make announcements and check baggage in the gate area.
• Assign seats to passengers as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas.
• Must have the authorization to work in the US.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and FBI criminal background check.
• Required to lift and move up to 70lbs.
• Required valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of computer software programs.
