The P2C Project Coordinator is a part-time grant-funded position through the Indiana Latino Institute Pathway to Careers (ILI P2C) grant. This role is essential in supporting the retention of Latino/x scholars at Ivy Tech Community College. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Diversity, Equity & Belonging and will be stationed in the Center for Intercultural Excellence. The position is designed to foster an inclusive environment that promotes student success and engagement, particularly among Latino/x populations. The coordinator will be responsible for creating and implementing initiatives that align with the goals of the grant, ensuring that students are effectively placed in various campus offices where they can contribute to meaningful projects. The role requires collaboration across multiple departments to enhance the overall experience of P2C scholars and to facilitate events such as the Somos Ivy Tech Latino/x recruitment day. The coordinator will also be expected to attend meetings with the Indiana Latino Institute as necessary, ensuring that the college's initiatives are aligned with community needs and expectations.
