About the position

The Maintenance Purchasing Resource is responsible for managing inventory and part counts for facilities, assisting with the disbursement of parts and inventory to the plant and Maintenance Department. This role emphasizes effective communication and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and ensure smooth operations within the department and across other departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory and part counts for each facility.
• Assist with the disbursement of parts and inventory to the plant and Maintenance Department.
• Perform essential functions and physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Attend work on time and for the entire shift at the designated office or plant.
• Complete job tasks and responsibilities as directed or required.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address vital questions and problems.
• Gather and assess data and information to interpret it effectively.
• Communicate effectively with others to find solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

• Technical or Associates degree and/or applicable knowledge/experience.
• Proven experience in the purchasing field.
• Project management and execution skill set with data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Maintenance Management Systems.
• Experience and/or training in computer-controlled manufacturing process systems.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid food handler's card from Tulsa Health Department.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record.
• Forklift Certified.
• Proven safety record in past work history.
