About the position

The Maintenance Purchasing Resource at The Bama Companies, Inc. is responsible for managing inventory and part counts for various facilities. This full-time position involves assisting with the disbursement of parts and inventory to the plant and Maintenance Department, emphasizing effective communication and problem-solving skills to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inventory and part counts for each facility.
  • Assist with the disbursement of parts and inventory to the plant and Maintenance Department.
  • Perform essential functions and physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Attend work regularly and on time for the entire shift at the designated office or plant.
  • Complete job tasks and responsibilities as directed or required.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address issues and formulate solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all work groups through written and oral communication.

Requirements

  • Technical or Associates degree and/or applicable knowledge/experience.
  • Proven experience in the purchasing field.
  • Project management and execution skill set with data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Experience and/or training in computer-controlled manufacturing process systems.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid food handler's card from Tulsa Health Department.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Proven safety record in past work history.
