About the position

The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive is a pivotal role within CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, a Humana-owned brand dedicated to enhancing healthcare services. This position is primarily focused on leveraging targeted geographic analysis to engage with physician offices, influencing key decision-makers to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The ultimate goal is to increase orders to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, which directly contributes to the growth of prescriptions and revenue for the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the benefits of utilizing CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the pharmacy's services are well-integrated into the healthcare delivery process, thereby enhancing patient care and satisfaction. The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive will also be tasked with analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. This includes conducting presentations and educational sessions for healthcare providers to showcase the value of CenterWell's offerings. Your ability to build trust and rapport with physicians and their staff will be crucial in driving the success of this role and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage targeted geographic analysis to identify potential physician offices for engagement.
  • Influence key decision-makers in physician offices to route specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to enhance service utilization.
  • Conduct presentations and educational sessions to showcase the benefits of CenterWell's pharmacy services.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services into healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field, preferably in specialty pharmacy.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and pharmacy operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
