About the position
The Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiology will enhance patient care in a respected private practice in Tulsa. This role focuses on patient assessments, treatments, monitoring, and education for both patients and their families, ensuring high-quality care in the cardiology field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Monitor patient conditions and progress.
- Provide treatments and develop care plans.
- Educate patients and families about cardiology and health management.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs and echocardiograms.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program.
- Active Oklahoma license in good standing.
- 2+ years of experience in cardiology preferred or a strong interest in cardiology.
- Acute Care Certification required for nurse practitioners.
- Strong clinical skills in cardiology and cardiovascular health.
- Proficient in physical exams and diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms).
- Excellent communication skills for empathetic interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
