The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver packages to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The starting pay for this position is $19.75 per hour, with opportunities for weekly bonuses. The typical working hours are from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours a day. Delivery Associates will commonly work 4-5 days a week, including at least one weekend day. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license. The role involves operating a delivery van with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,000 lbs or less, and the ability to move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs is essential. Delivery Associates will be required to get in and out of the van multiple times a day and must have good communication skills to interact positively with customers. The position also requires following strict safety standards both on and off the road, conducting pre-delivery inspections of the vehicle, and navigating various routes throughout the delivery area. Associates will use handheld technology to manage the delivery process and must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
