Package Delivery Driver

About the position

UPS Package Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering packages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. They drive the familiar brown trucks and enjoy a physically active job that involves being outdoors and behind the wheel. The role requires the ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and to comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided uniform. Full-time employees typically work eight to ten hours per day, with workdays varying between Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to homes and businesses in a timely manner
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with customers
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
• Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs as required
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for deliveries

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (no CDL required, license type varies by state)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Pass the DOT physical
• Excellent customer service skills
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
