About the position
The Packager I position at MFUSED involves inspecting, cleaning, and packaging various cannabis products in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to ensure that products meet quality standards and compliance regulations while contributing to the company's production goals. The position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and package various cannabis products.
- Perform boxing, bagging, labeling, and tubing of products.
- Operate packaging machines, including the flapper, heat-sealer, and bag labeler.
- Utilize the capping tool for the capping process as needed.
- Assemble packaging materials, including boxes and bags.
- Insert products into their corresponding packaging.
- Properly apply compliance stickers to bags.
- Package products in accordance with established quality standards.
- Adhere to company SOPs and compliance processes.
- Contribute to achieving daily production goals as part of the team.
- Follow 5s lean methods to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area before and after use.
- Perform quality assurance checks as outlined in the SOPs.
- Perform tasks across multiple departments when assigned by a manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- 1+ year(s) packaging experience preferred
