The Packager at Ethos Biosciences plays a crucial role in supporting the company's production goals by performing various tasks related to the packaging and handling of finished products. This position is essential for ensuring that products meet customer specifications and are properly documented, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures for safe performance of work assignments.
• Remove finished products from production areas, ensuring proper identification and labeling to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure finished goods are properly documented.
• Stage finished goods and materials according to warehouse and production planning schedules.
• Conduct inspections of assigned equipment and materials used for packaging.
• Communicate any machine malfunctions to management.
• Perform basic calculations and possess solid math skills.
• Carry out clean-up and housekeeping duties.
• Review and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the area of responsibility.
• Oversee training of new Material Handlers.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.
• Handle stress and interact positively with others to minimize personal conflicts.
• Understand and practice proper accumulation and storage requirements for waste.
• Comply with environmental regulations when handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Less than high school education required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and solid math skills.
