The Packaging Associate position at Pactiv Evergreen involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to pack finished goods and prepare products for shipment. Responsibilities

  • Safely and effectively pack finished goods and prepare products for shipment.
  • Perform quality checks and ensure correct counts on various product sizes and pack into appropriate packaging.
  • Make minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
  • Replace adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
  • Ensure that finished goods or work in progress identification labels are present and placed correctly.
  • Stack finished products in the correct configuration, ready for transportation.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure that areas of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidy.
  • Promptly inform the supervisor of any health and safety, hygiene, quality, and efficiency issues.
  • Follow all company established rules and policies, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months previous fast-paced manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to follow standard work instructions.
  • Experience with assembly line work, packing, and machine operator assistance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous packer experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
