About the position
The Packaging Designer will be responsible for creating unique and visually appealing packaging for a variety of home textile products. This role involves developing product copy, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines, and staying updated on industry trends to create standout packaging. The designer will also create dielines, evaluate packaging proofs, and ensure quality before production.
Responsibilities
- Design unique and visually appealing packaging for an array of products
- Develop engaging and informative product copy that highlights key features and benefits
- Ensure all packaging designs are in line with brand guidelines and accurately reflect brand identity and values
- Keep up with industry trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences
- Create dielines and templates for packaging production
- Evaluate and approve packaging proofs and prototypes to guarantee accuracy and quality before production
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field
- Skilled in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong ability to create compelling and concise product descriptions
- Familiarity with printing processes and materials
- Highly meticulous with a sharp eye for aesthetics
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting and meeting deadlines consistently
