About the position

The Packaging Graphics/Digital Renders position focuses on designing and maintaining brand identity through the creative process of packaging design for client-branded products. The role involves developing digital packaging render concepts, supporting mechanical execution for packaging, and creating design concepts for various packaging adaptations and promotional materials.

Responsibilities

• Create digital packaging images of Client branded products from final packaging mechanicals and product photography.
• Generate realistic packaging renders using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Esko Studio products.
• Create models and templates of various structure types for new packaging renders.
• Partner with Production Services managers and design personnel to manage schedules of deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Create packaging mechanical executions ensuring design continuity and strong branding presence across various packaging forms.
• Design and execute production across multiple brand portfolios and regions, considering multiple languages and print converters.
• Interpret printer specifications into mechanical artwork development, including print process limitations and color usage.
• Generate graphic element files for packaging and digital utilization.
• Adapt Marketing Graphic Briefs into compelling package design concepts.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, highly proficient in Illustrator, and superior Photoshop skills.
• Familiarity with Esko Studio and Studio Advanced is a plus.
• Strong knowledge in color correction and digital retouching for packaging image development.
• Ability to source and reformat for multiple file formats and distribute assets through various platforms.
• High proficiency in the development and execution of packing artwork mechanicals.
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Communications or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a designer/graphic/production artist in a packaging design environment.

• CPG experience is a big plus.
