Job Description The Manager is responsible for the day‐to‐day management and strategic development of the Company's carton die cutting and folding/gluing Department. This individual will be a key contributor to the leadership team by ensuring all manufacturing meet RRD quality standards and customers & expectations. Supervises and facilitates the day-to-day shift activities of the die cutting and folder/gluer teams. Perform other duties as assigned and directed. Responsible for and assists with production performance toward set goals. Ensure necessary resources, i.e. staffing, training, and equipment, are available to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Review existing operations to determine what improvements can be made with particular attention being paid to areas that allow for cost reduction, improved efficiency, and improved quality. Direct and oversee job assignments and plan daily labor schedules. Conduct effective communications with customers and employees. Administer and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently. Work in conjunction with Human Resources and operations management to maintain a positive employee relations environment. Enforce a safe working environment by complying with all safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Provide technical advice to customers, sales, and manufacturing. Develop and implement staffing plans, operational budgets, and capital equipment.. Organize and prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions. Coach employees to peak performance by developing the skill level of your staff and their ability to produce quality work and increase efficiencies and productivity. Analyze and resolve work-related problems and assist employees with troubleshooting and solving production/quality issues. Understand the impact of operational decisions on the budget while controlling variable expenses. Qualifications Hands‐on, self‐starter, multi‐tasker capable of delivering results in a fast‐paced environment. Excellent leadership communication skills. 5-7 years of printing/packaging converting experience preferred. 4 year degree preferred Exceptional computer skills in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn and streamline existing technology to improve existing processes. Additional Information The national pay range for this role is $113,700.00 to $144,200.00 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
