About the position
The Packaging Operator Assistant at Tree Top Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Low Moisture Packaging Operator by ensuring that the packaging process meets customer specifications and operates efficiently. This position involves communication with various team members, preparation of packaging materials, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist Operator to ensure process is set-up to meet customer specifications and that machinery is ready for production.
- Communicate effectively with the Low Moisture Packaging Operator, Supervisors, Quality Technicians, and co-workers.
- Prepare boxes for palletizing, compress products when necessary, and properly label containers.
- Assist in the ongoing operation of the Low Moisture Packaging and Puff Areas, adjusting flake rolls and ensuring proper function of oilers and machinery.
- Monitor and control product quality attributes to meet customer specifications, following industrial and food safety procedures.
Requirements
