The Packing Operator position at Nestlé Purina involves ensuring the quality and quantity of pet food pouches packed into cartons or club packs using good manufacturing practices. Responsibilities
- Must be willing to work evening/night shift
- Maintain a high level of understanding of best practices for packing finished product
- Insert pet food pouches into cartons
- Operate the control panel to match pouch flow to carton speed
- Perform quality checks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Rotate between all packing and clean-up positions within department
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 6 months experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment preferred
