About the position

The Packaging Operator at Darigold's Chehalis plant is responsible for working independently in a fast-paced environment to support the operations team. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to complete repetitive tasks, and a commitment to safety and food standards. The operator will contribute to team goals while maintaining accurate documentation and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete multiple and/or repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Maintain legible and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve team goals.
• Report any workplace or food safety concerns immediately to the Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks.
• Capability to maintain reliable attendance and timeliness.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 56 pounds).
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and climb stairs routinely.
• Commitment to follow instructions and training provided, and comply with safety standards.
• Experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
