About the position

Darigold is seeking a motivated Packaging Operator to join the team at the Chehalis, Washington plant. This role involves working independently in a fast-paced environment, contributing to team goals, and ensuring adherence to safety and food safety standards. The position requires the ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining accurate documentation and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete multiple and/or repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Maintain legible and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve team goals.
• Report any workplace or food safety concerns immediately to the Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks.
• Experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and timeliness.
• Capability to lift heavy items (up to 56 pounds).
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and climb stairs routinely.
• Commitment to follow instructions and training, and comply with safety standards.
