About the position
The Warehouse Material Handler position at Adecco involves picking, packaging, and preparing prescriptions for shipping in a fast-paced environment within a major pharmaceutical company's Central Fill Pharmacy. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling orders.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and ship prescriptions directly to retail pharmacies and end-customers.
- Fill, pack and ship prescriptions with 100% accuracy and efficiency using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Read computer-generated screens to find indicated merchandise on labeled shelves and verify quantity and dosage before selection.
- Examine stock and distribute materials in inventory.
- Maintain housekeeping and proper storage of goods, ensuring correct shelf labels for merchandise locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent experience.
- One year of warehouse or fulfillment center experience.
- Pharmacy experience is a big plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state HIPAA laws.
- Basic mathematic skills.
- Ability to operate a hand truck/dolly and scanning units.
