About the position
The Packaging Specialist at Curador plays a crucial role in the cannabis packaging process, ensuring that products are packaged accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. This entry-level position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The role involves assisting in fulfilling sales orders and maintaining a clean workspace, contributing to the overall efficiency of the packaging team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the packaging of tested inventory based on sales orders, following instructions provided by the Packaging Expert and Packaging Team Manager.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements throughout the packaging process.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete packaging tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the Packaging Expert or Packaging Team Manager.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance packaging skills and knowledge.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging and record-keeping.
- Assist in inventory management, including counting and recording materials used in the packaging process.
- Support in conducting quality control checks to ensure product integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Packaging Expert or Packaging Team Manager.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in packaging or a related field.
- Basic verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
