About the position

The Will-Burt Company is seeking a Packer Hanger to work on the paint line, responsible for loading and unloading products on a continuous moving production line to ensure the uninterrupted flow of product onto and off the line. This is a full-time hourly position.

Responsibilities

• Fills containers with prescribed quantities of parts, hangs parts for economical paint processing.
• Loads or unloads painted articles to and from the paint system.
• Racks workpieces on conveyors; inspects, marks, and transfers finished pieces to shipping containers.
• Cleans work area and performs other routine duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
