Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level non-skilled general labor tasks in food production.
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with Tyson policies and procedures.
• Work as a Packer, Stacker, Floater, and/or Line Feeder as needed.
• Be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as required.
• Reach high and low levels frequently during work.
• Flex/grip with wrists/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute).
• Push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 50 pounds.
• Work in extreme temperatures and damp environments with potentially slippery surfaces.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.

Requirements

• Must have been in current position for at least 6 months to transfer to another shift, line, or facility.
• Must have been in current position for at least 90 days to promote.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to reach high and low levels frequently.
• Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands occasionally.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds at various levels.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and damp environments.
