About the position
The Packer position at IPL Global involves monitoring molded products, ensuring quality standards are met, and packing products efficiently. This role is crucial in the Molding Department at the Lee's Summit facility, which specializes in producing customized thin-wall injection molded containers and packaging solutions for various markets. The successful candidate will work autonomously and as part of a team, adhering to safety and quality protocols while maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
Responsibilities
- Monitor molded products and separate any defects.
- Pack products that meet or exceed quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections and notify personnel of any quality concerns.
- Communicate relevant information regarding safety, quality, productivity, and equipment to key personnel.
- Constantly monitor stacking and conveyance systems to prevent scrap from jam-ups.
- Meet scrap management requirements and properly segregate scrap.
- Interact with QA Technicians to provide information and samples of defective products.
- Erect cartons and stack boxes of product onto skids as directed.
- Read and understand shop orders.
- Perform other tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Reliable and dependable candidate with a team player mindset.

- Adherence to all Safety, GMP, and Food Safety requirements.
- Capability to pass a Post Offer Essential Function Test (POET) and an Occupational Examination.
