The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged accurately and efficiently for shipment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately package products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders.
- Perform order picking tasks to gather items for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks safely and effectively.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience with order picking processes and packaging techniques is beneficial.
- Proficient in operating equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
