About the position
The Packing Line Operator role involves packing products at the end of the production line for a medical device manufacturer. The position requires attention to detail to ensure that products are packed neatly and consistently, meeting customer requirements. This is a contract/temporary position with the potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Pack integrity of all products in the form of bulk lockouts, neat packs, spooling, and/or coiling.
- Coordinate all packing materials specified for individual lots, including poly wrap, poly bags, cartons, and spacers.
- Monitor laser parameters as process control alarms.
- Utilize techniques for labeling and any other label support documentation employed.
- Prepare packing materials and maintain the packing area.
- Clean and maintain the packing area and Clean Room.
Requirements
- Ability to pack products neatly and consistently.
- Familiarity with packing materials and techniques.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a manufacturing or packing environment.
- Knowledge of medical device packing standards.
