The Pad Print Operator at MSA Safety is responsible for setting up and operating pad print machines to print logos on hard hats. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret job-related documentation, and a commitment to quality and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Set-up and operate the Pad Print Machines, including loading and unloading as well as any support equipment used to print logos on hard hats.
Interpret all job-related documentation, pull material to be processed, mix inks, and make clichés.
Perform both set-up and adjustments on machines, including installation of printing plates and troubleshooting to create acceptable logos.
Recognize process deficiencies and make compensating adjustments, and fully inspect product.
Maintain relevant documentation, utilize computer software, and clean up machine and work area.
Responsible for quality, productivity, material handling, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
Meet all Plant certification and progression criteria.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 months previous manufacturing or related experience.
Proven ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
Ability to distinguish between different colors and various shades of color.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Proven ability to understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
Proven ability to use power and hand tools and operate simple machines.

Fork truck certification
Experience in a team environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
