About the position

The Paid Acquisition and Social Media Manager at Gen is responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for partner channels, focusing on both paid and organic content. This role supports the global sales team within the Marketing, Brand, and Communications organization, aiming to engage B2B audiences through effective social media campaigns and content strategies. The position requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders and external agencies to create compelling content that drives awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own, manage, and implement the social media content calendar for various partner channels to increase awareness, education, and engagement among B2B audiences.
  • Conceptualize, launch, test, optimize, and report on paid social campaigns to support partner marketing channels through LinkedIn ads.
  • Develop an ongoing B2B content strategy targeting key audiences and identifying effective content formats across platforms.
  • Create and edit B2B content for all social channels, both independently and in partnership with creative agencies.
  • Approve, schedule, publish, and track posts across social channels using tools like Asana, Khorus, Hootsuite, and HubSpot.
  • Monitor and engage with partner communities through posts, forums, and more.
  • Generate monthly reports to track performance and growth, updating the budget accordingly.
  • Establish social budgets for different channels and ad accounts, tracking them on an ongoing basis.
  • Contribute to the planning, messaging, launch, and reporting associated with other online marketing tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar relevant field.
  • 7+ years of social media marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, creative formats, and trends.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation software and HubSpot is preferred.
  • Highly experienced with social media management and paid social advertising platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify trends and insights.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
