The Paid and Social Media Marketing Lead is a critical role in helping Texas Capital achieve its consumer and business-to-business goals. This role will own the firm's overall paid and social media strategy and execution and monitoring of the Texas Capital and Bask Bank media calendars which encompass activities for the overarching brands, consumer banking (Bask Bank, Texas Capital Consumer Bank, Texas Capital Private Bank), commercial banking, (B2B) ETF and Funds Management and sponsorship events. This person will also be the key point of contact and day-to-day manager of our external media agency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship and strategy with advertising media agency to align with company's strategic objectives.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor impact and report out on return on investment of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Help optimize the overall Marketing Technology ecosystem to align current capabilities to maximize campaign effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing stakeholders to develop strategy for integrated paid and social media campaigns including, but not limited to digital display, placement of native content, affiliate content, search, paid social posts, print and out of home.
  • Work closely with marketing research team to understand and uncover insights specific to target audiences and relay into media opportunities.
  • Vet affiliate and third-party vendor opportunities to innovate on new go to market strategies and to reach new audiences.
  • Remain up to date with the latest advertising and media trends to drive business initiatives now and forward looking to enhance overall effectiveness of media and advertising strategy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' experience in advertising, media, social media or a related field - strong B2C background and experience with highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related degree.
  • Direct advertising and social media experience with a strong understanding of digital advertising techniques, marketing technology platforms and agency management.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar paid media budgets across multiple brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Superior communication, problem solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools such as SFMC, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, audience segmentation tools, etc.
  • Self-motivated and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic and changing environments.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Asana and Salesforce.
