About the position

The Paid Digital Media Buyer will support in-house digital marketing teams at a pivotal time for the company, focusing on strategies to secure America's energy independence. This role requires a strategic thinker adept at managing multiple projects and collaborating with both internal and external partners to analyze and optimize paid digital marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in paid digital marketing and data analysis to enhance ad performance and maximize ROI across various digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data-driven strategies for optimizing ad placements across paid digital channels, including SEM, PPC, display advertising, social media advertising, and programmatic advertising.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party agency partners to understand campaign goals, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, such as ad platforms, web analytics, and customer databases.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data analysis to continually improve ad placement strategies and maximize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTRs), conversion rates, cost per click (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Provide clear and concise reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and agency partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field; A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in paid digital marketing and ad placement optimization, preferably within an ad agency or digital marketing environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of major paid digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Advertising, programmatic platforms, and ad servers.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with website tagging and tracking implementation, using tools like Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch.
  • Solid understanding of paid digital marketing metrics and KPIs, including CTR, conversion rate, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
