About the position

The Paid Intern - Youth Social Media Content Creator position is a four-month internship designed for full-time students or recent graduates who are passionate about creating engaging digital content for youth. The role focuses on planning and producing content for the Church's social media channels, particularly the Strive to Be Instagram and YouTube accounts, with the aim of inspiring and teaching young audiences about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Interns will work in a creative and fast-paced environment, contributing to various projects that enhance the Church's digital presence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create content for the Church's digital channels for youth.
• Develop engaging and inspiring content for the Strive to Be Instagram and YouTube accounts.
• Film youth and create videos and reels.
• Design cover images and thumbnails, and photoshop images.
• Create graphics and illustrations for social media posts.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or have finished a degree within a year of starting the internship.
• At least one year of college-level graphic design experience.
• At least one year of video editing experience.
• Sound understanding of Church doctrine and a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Ability to think creatively and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and professionalism.

Nice-to-haves

• Background or interest in content creation, social media marketing, videography, graphic design, illustration, or motion graphics.
