About the position

The Paid Media Manager at Directive Consulting is a crucial role within the Paid Media team, responsible for overseeing and executing paid media strategies for enterprise SaaS clients. This position focuses on creating high-performing paid media campaigns, managing client relationships, and ensuring alignment with internal and client goals. The role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, particularly in paid search and social advertising, and involves regular communication with clients and vendors to optimize campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts.
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts.
  • Communicate weekly with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks and work quality.
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network.
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
  • Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency.
  • Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting.
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with programmatic advertising campaigns.
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT.
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
