About the position

The Paid Media Manager at Directive Consulting is a pivotal role within the Paid Media team, responsible for overseeing and executing paid media strategies for enterprise SaaS clients. This position involves direct communication with clients, managing multiple paid media accounts, and optimizing campaigns across various platforms to achieve client goals. The role emphasizes a data-driven approach to marketing, focusing on SQLs and customer generation rather than traditional metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Paid Media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Communicate weekly with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks and work quality
  • Drive referrals via client relationships and professional network
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns across multiple channels
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Ensure personal productivity and utilization
  • Work directly with Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
  • Execute and optimize PPC advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency
  • Experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting
  • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
  • Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
