The Gig: We're looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our talented Paid Media team in Phoenix. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of different clients and industries and to shape this role and your career at IDX; managing 1-3 direct reports whilst leading omni-channel strategies that achieve client goals. You Will: Manage all aspects of paid media account management (65%). Establish holistic media strategy, own client communication, and hit performance goals. Oversee team members (when applicable) to execute on accounts while providing oversight and strategic guidance for larger initiatives. Work with client management team to meet reporting deadlines and aid in relevant discussion. Lead campaign research, implementation, analysis, and proactive tactical recommendations; tasks include but are not limited to budget pacing, report building, performance analysis, keyword research, Ad copy testing, audience research/building, strategic recommendations and forecasting. Work with Director of Paid Media on existing client opportunity, retention and department wide deliverables (15%). Explore case study opportunities, which includes: gathering research and developing client case studies to be shared with leadership on a quarterly basis. Actively involved in audience research, tactical recommendations, and strategy proposals for applicable paid media channels for new and existing clients. Strong involvement in larger strategic initiatives, in the form of guiding team members and presenting information to client - this includes but is not limited to recommendations and guidance of budgets, bidding, audience, copy & asset, landing page/UX testing and annual planning. Oversee training and development of team of 1-3, plus additional new hires as applicable (15%). Actively involved in transfer of knowledge to junior team members. Stay on top of industry trends and available beta programs. Has routine 1:1's with team talking through goals, proactive feedback and development opportunities. Assist Director in advancing training materials and bi-weekly training program. Serve as first escalation touch point for direct reports within internal and external scenarios. Participate in new business and marketing initiatives (5%). Assist Director in pulling competitive data for new business opportunities. Participate in research and/or build initial tactical recommendations to be finalized during the new business process. Potential to join new business pitches as skills become further refined.

Requirements

  • Previous paid media experience; agency experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of paid media channels across search, social and programmatic.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform.
  • Awareness and/or experience of all digital marketing channels and their potential impact on paid media performance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively across departments and within team.
  • Strong mentorship and training skills.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding client goals through measurable insights.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve client challenges.
