About the position

The Marketing Manager at Amazon Music will play a crucial role in scaling acquisition initiatives across various service tiers. This position focuses on managing multi-channel acquisition marketing campaigns, analyzing results for optimization, and developing playbooks to enhance proven campaign structures. The role requires a driven, analytical, and results-oriented individual to influence how Amazon Music engages with fans, artists, and creators globally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage paid media planning process for Audience Development campaigns.
  • Oversee campaign briefs, channel instrumentation, and reporting.
  • Manage external media agency on campaign execution and be the primary contact for budget and billing.
  • Ensure correct assets are produced and handed off to execution teams through creative trafficking.
  • Instrument appropriate tracking for all campaigns and create links/ref-tags.
  • Standardize campaign tracking and reporting, working with data science teams for attribution mapping.
  • Create post-mortem processes and reports at campaign, program, and quarterly levels.
  • Aggregate, clean, and model campaign data from various sources and synthesize learnings from large datasets.
  • Own the Audience Development experimentation roadmap and disseminate learnings to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
  • 3+ years of experience with cross-channel media planning and strategy.
  • Experience leading project-based teams at both campaign and program levels.
  • Foundational understanding of paid media attribution models.
  • 2+ years of digital ad operations and media buying experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced data modeling/analysis skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management.
  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines.
  • 2+ years of programmatic display/paid social trafficking experience.
  • 2+ years experience with Data Management Platforms (DMP) or Customer Data Platforms (CMP).
  • Hands-on experience with audience onboarding tools.
