About the position

The Paid Media Specialist (PPC & SEO) is responsible for managing and implementing effective paid search and SEO strategies to drive lead acquisition and optimize advertising performance. This role requires a data-driven mindset and expertise in search engine marketing, social media advertising, and a strong understanding of ROI metrics. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills to manage both paid and organic advertising cohesively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement successful paid search campaigns, demonstrating revenue goals, efficiency, quality, and volume.
  • Manage and implement successful SEO strategies with demonstrable achievements and return-on-investment.
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Maintain solid best practices regarding activation, maintenance, optimization, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Designers or Developers to optimize landing pages for optimum quality scores and create branding of banners.
  • Conduct extensive keyword research to establish a strong industry position.
  • Monitor competitors' pay-per-click campaigns and report on auction insights.
  • Monitor competitors' SEO strategies and report on industry changes in the SEO field.
  • Remain current with industry trends while leveraging new tools and best practices to boost campaign efficiency.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a PPC Manager or PPC Specialist with proven experience managing budgets of $1M+.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience within the SEO field, managing websites with ½M backlinks or more.
  • Direct expertise with media buying across ROAS, TCPA, CPC, and CPM models.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads, including video, YouTube, and CTV.
  • Previous Google Ads certification required.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong data and analytical skills.
  • Mastery of marketing funnels and the economics of user acquisition.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Thoughtful leadership and subject matter expertise in paid acquisition strategies.
