About the position
The Paid Nursing Assistant Training Program (CATP) at Winchester Hospital is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. It is important to note that this is not a certification program; rather, it is a training initiative to prepare individuals for the role of a nursing assistant. Participants must commit to working year-round for a minimum of one year after completing the training, and they are required to work every other weekend and alternating holidays. Candidates interested in the program must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza, and they must be able to attend the training sessions without exceptions. The pay rate for those without prior patient care experience is set at $19.50 per hour, with potential adjustments for those with relevant experience. Responsibilities
- Attend the two-week Clinical Associate Training Program from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work as a Clinical Associate for a minimum of one year after completing the training program.
- Commit to working a minimum of 24 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week, year-round.
- Work every other weekend and alternating holidays as required by the position.
- Be available to work 12-hour shifts, either from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

- Must be able to commit to working year-round for a minimum of 24 hours per week after training.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza.
- No prior patient care experience is required, but those with experience may receive a different pay rate based on their background.
